My personal practice emerges largely from the processes of printmaking in its many forms, with a particular focus on intaglio and woodcut techniques. Alongside these, drawing, in its multiple variations, constitutes an organic part of my work, often merging seamlessly with printmaking. Exploring the technical richness of engraving, as well as the materials inherent to the medium, has always been a source of fascination for me, both formally and conceptually.

At the same time, my work is informed by themes I have been immersed in for years: politics and archaeology in the Middle East. These areas of inquiry serve as the principal foundations that shape the theoretical and conceptual framework of my practice, where material experimentation intersects with historical and cultural research.
